Hasil perancangan prototipe instrumen pengukuran gradien termal yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya membutuhkan pengujian lapangan. Pengujian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kemampuan dalam uji langsung di lapangan panas bumi. Metode digunakan adalah dengan membandingkan hasil suhu pada menggunakan MAE A5000T penelitian Padang Cermin. Penghitungan secara otomatis oleh sistem teknik kuadrat terkecil ( Least Squares Method ). menunjukkan adanya keselarasan khususnya area manifestasi. Peta sebaran mengindikasikan pola klasterisasi hubungan aliran fluida panas, arah barat-timur. Adanya konektivitas diinterpretasikan sebagai struktur geologi atau zona permeable juga tinggi manifestasi Selain itu, nilai rendah ketiga layer sumber air permukaan selaras puncak gunung.
